Spoof of the Colossus Not terrible, Not great
I'm not seeing why everyone considers this to be such an amazing flash, to be perfectly honest with you.
Pros:
-The animation wasn't horrible. The colossi looked much better than the humans.
-The music (although that was from the game and I always loved the music)
-A few of the jokes.
Cons:
-Too many cheesy one-liners. There weren't nearly as many funny ones as their were the latter. It almost felt as though you were just throwing as many in there as you could, hoping some would stick.
-Back to the animation of the humans.
-The voice acting was somewhat lacking any form of emotion.
-The ending. I thought that with the ending of the game, you could have done something much better.
Like I stated in the title of this review, this wasn't a terrible effort; although I still stress that it was far from a great effort. I see a lot of potential in you after watching this, I just think you need to refine your style a bit more. The comedy needs work, try just writing out fewer, funnier jokes as opposed to trying to stick a new joke in every line. The animation could be improved, but that all comes down to your style and its tough for me to say anything on that, that would be helpful.
I don't mean to sound discouraging, just honest. I hope, if you read this, you take some of it to heart. Good luck in the guture.
